Last week I had the pleasure of staying at the incredibly mesmerising qualia on Hamilton Island! I struggle to successfully describe the experience that was 'qualia', quite possibly because in Latin it is defined as 'a collection of deeper sensory experiences'. Whilst difficult to describe, it is certainly something that can be understood when experienced!
Overlooking the coral sea with a private pebbled beach and nestled amongst islands that surround the Great Barrier Reef, qualia provides a tranquil, relaxing environment in ultimate luxury.
My days were spent fine dining at the Long Pavillion whilst watching the sunrise and set over the idyllic blue ocean, sunbaking by the serene infinity pool, reading and browsing an inspiring collection of works in the library and snorkelling at the Great Barrier Reef - a well earned escape from an incredibly busy year!
